NRTL
Product Safety
Rhein Tech Laboratories, Inc. obtains NRTL approval through a vendor relationship with NRTL accredited laboratories. The Label indicates to consumers, local electrical inspectors, OSHA inspectors and purchasing agents that the product complies with the applicable UL standard. As a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL), these laboratories are licensed by the United States Government to certify electrical products for compliance to UL/ANSI standards.

Voluntary Council for Interference (VCCI), Japan

Accepted as an Associate Member to the VCCI test laboratories since 1995. Rhein Tech registration numbers: C-1172 and R-1113

Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection (BSMI; formerly BCIQ), Taiwan

BSMI accreditation via NVLAP MRA with BSMI in Taiwan. Test data is accepted for commodity EMC type approval in Taiwan.


Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and Canadian Standards Association (CSA)
Relationship for certifying products
Assessed and accepted by UL and CSA to participate in UL and CSA witness test programs. UL or CSA witnesses test and prepares UL or CSA technical file for UL or CSA product recognition and listing.
