worldwide homologation
How we do it:
RTL product homologation services are provided using in-house resources and via experienced international homologation partners. From the initial step of determining approval requirements and the best approval strategy, to completing all EMC and safety testing, preparing and filing the approval application, following up with the relevant regulatory bodies, and offering test support when in-country testing is required, RTL performs in a proficient and professional manner, to ensure the quickest time-to-market, at the least cost.

Our Expertise:
RTL knows the approval schemes in each market thoroughly, and can lend expert advice on approval requirements, thereby helping our clients develop the most efficient and cost-effective approval strategies for their products. Our knowledge of each market's approval process and regulations eliminates the need for our clients to become experts on international homologation, and instead focus on their business. Our project management staff works closely with our clients to compile technical documents and provide detailed test reports for submittal.

Research, Support and Progress:
RTL will research the national and international requirements for a certain technology or type of equipment. We provide detailed information on the compliance requirements. Testing requirements, including location, i.e. if testing can be done in-house at RTL or if testing must be done in-country; the testing time frame, and the total cost are all part of the information provided. We are prepared to quickly research questions regarding emerging technologies in the midst of ever changing international regulations. We are able to perform investigations and present our results in a simple summary or a full report. RTL always maintains client confidentiality, and this certainly holds true for research projects as well. From time to time, some countries will require in-country testing of equipment. RTL engineers have the technical expertise to support the equipment under test, minimize delays in testing, and provide our clients the security of knowing that their approvals are being competently managed.
