Canada – ISED Publishes RSS-192, Issue 5

The Department of Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) in Canada published Radio Standards Specification RSS-192, Issue 5, Flexible Use Broadband Equipment Operating in the Band 3450-3900 MHz. Main changes to this specification include:

  • Frequency range extended from 3650 MHz to 3900 MHz with standard title updated accordingly.

  • Transmitter output power modified for indoor base station and subscriber equipment other than fixed subscriber equipment.

  • Requirements added for out-of-frequency band unwanted emissions for equipment operating beyond 3900 MHz.

  • Test report requirements removed.

  • Editorial changes and revisions to clarify terms where needed.
